An odd little plant, euphorbia japonica is an almost crystaline, rock like looking orb with pointed extensions that can sprout leaves or other, smaller orbs. The top of this one has sprouted a lovely spray of long, light weight, pointed leaves in a brilliant green.
The bottom of the orb growth is corked over- cork happens with age and sun. It’s a light tan. The more actively growing areas of the orb are a green similar to the leaves.
These tend to grow in clusters.
